How to use these templates
Start from the brief, not the posts. The brief holds the facts and says who should post what; the posts show what three people might write from it. Copy a post only as a starting point, and replace every word in [brackets].
Each person should end up with their own post. Three different posts reach three different networks; the same post three times looks like a campaign, and readers scroll past it.
Posting stays voluntary. If you're setting up a program, our guide to employee advocacy for small teams covers who owns it and a first 30 days, and the social media policy template covers disclosure, AI drafts and who approves what.
FAQ
Are these LinkedIn post templates free?
Yes. Copy them, change them and use them for your team. No sign-up.
Can we post the templates word for word?
You can, but they work better rewritten. A post in the author's own words, about their own part of the news, reads like a person wrote it.
Do employees have to post?
No. Ask, don't require. Teams that keep posting optional get fewer posts that read better.
How does Postfox use a brief like these?
An admin writes one brief, and Postfox drafts a different post for each person, in their own voice, from what they told it about their work. Each person approves, edits or declines their own post.
